Younix comes from training before it comes from design. My background is in coaching, operating gyms, developing equipment and studying how people actually train. That is why every Younix project starts with function, movement and the room — and only then becomes a complete visual and technical system.
TRAINING CAME FIRST.
My education is in Sports Science, followed by an industrial PhD whose doctoral research included the Cable Rack. But Younix was not born only from research. It also came from years spent coaching, operating training spaces and developing equipment around real users. That combination shaped a simple principle: before asking how a gym should look, understand how it needs to work.
FUNCTION FIRST. DESIGN AROUND IT.
A private gym is not a collection of attractive objects. The room, the way the person trains and the movements the space must support define the project first. Equipment, operating clearances and ergonomics follow that logic. Materials, colours, storage and visual identity are then designed around the same system. Design matters precisely because it does not replace function — it gives function a coherent form.
FROM AN IDEA TO A COORDINATED SYSTEM.
Today Younix applies that philosophy through a complete project process. The physical training system, room configuration, customisation, Cable Art when selected, digital coaching, technical approval, delivery and installation support are treated as connected parts of the same project. My role as founder is to protect that direction: training first, clarity before decoration, and no element without a reason.
